- The Base – 1/2 cup quick or old-fashioned oats, cooked with 1 cup water or milk until thick and creamy
- Stir Ins – add 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree, and 2 Tbsp maple syrup. (optional: add 1 tsp cinnamon)
- Topping – Top with diced cooked kabocha or butternut squash, flaxseeds, sesame and pumpkin seeds
