Avocado is a healthy fat, containing high concentrations of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats that can help improve blood cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation. It’s also high in potassium (even more than bananas) and fiber which helps curb cravings. While most of us in the States are used to eating avocados in savory dishes like guacamole and avo-toast, avocado is apparently used in many dessert recipes in Southeast Asia! Avocado and milk, avocado ice cream, avocado graham float are some popular desserts there.
