Here's a round-up of my best sweet potato healthy dessert recipes.
Although they originated from Central and South America, sweet potatoes are now considered a fundamental staple in many parts of the world. Sweet potatoes come in all sorts of colors, from brown, orange, purple, yellow, and red, but they all have a moist, sweetish taste, with a pleasant and aromatic smell. They're also incredibly healthy - full of fiber, antioxidants and other nutrients.
The recipes below should give you an idea of how incredibly versatile and easy it is to incorporate this super-veggie into your next baking project. Most call for mashed sweet potatoes (which means you have to cook them first). Sometimes this could be a challenge since there are some times when I’m too lazy to boil or bake them in the oven 🙂 Here's the easiest way I know how to cook sweet potatoes: microwave it on high for 6-10 minutes (depending on the size of the potato).
And without further ado...
