Here's a quick and easy Sugar Free Streusel Made with Monk Fruit Sweetener you can use to top your favorite baked goods from banana breads to coffee cakes. This is a basic streusel recipe, so feel free to experiment with more flavors by adding 2-3 tsp of cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, matcha and more!
Sugar Free Streusel Made with Monk Fruit Sweetener
Ingredients
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp granulated monk fruit sweetener , or sugar of choice
- 1 ½ Tbsp light olive oil , or melted coconut oil
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and granulated monk fruit sweetener.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the dry ingredients.
- Using a fork or your fingers, mix the ingredients together until they form a crumbly texture. The streusel should have small clumps that can easily be sprinkled over your baked goods.
- If the streusel seems too dry and doesn't hold together, add a bit more olive oil, a half-teaspoon at a time, until you achieve the desired crumbly consistency.
- On the other hand, if the streusel appears too wet and sticky, you can add a little more flour, a tablespoon at a time, until you get the right texture.
- Once the streusel has the perfect crumbly texture, it's ready to use.
- Sprinkle the streusel generously over muffins, coffee cakes, pies, or any other baked goods of your choice before baking.
