This simple Maple Glaze is your secret weapon for transforming ordinary treats into extraordinary delights! This versatile glaze can be used on cinnamon rolls, donuts, cookies and more! It'll add a luscious layer of that rich maple flavor to any of your favorite baked goods.
Ingredients
- ½ cup confectioners sugar (60g) , use powdered erythritol for the sugar free option
- 2 tsp maple extract*
- 1 tsp water
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, maple extract, and water.
- Stir the mixture until the powdered sugar is fully dissolved and the glaze has a smooth consistency. The glaze should be pourable, but not too runny.
- If the glaze is too thick for your liking, add a little more water, a teaspoon at a time, and mix well until you reach the desired consistency.
- If the glaze is too thin and you prefer a thicker consistency, add more powdered sugar, a tablespoon at a time, and mix until you achieve the desired thickness.
- Once you have the glaze at your preferred consistency, it's ready to use.
- Drizzle the glaze over your favorite baked goods such as cakes, cupcakes, donuts, or cinnamon rolls. You can also use it to glaze cookies or muffins.
- Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.

*Substitution Notes: If you don't have maple extract on hand, you can substitute it with real maple syrup, but you may need to adjust the amount of powdered sugar and water to achieve the desired consistency. Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and adjust as needed.
