Simple Vanilla Bean Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup confectioners sugar (60g) , use powdered erythritol for the sugar free option
  • 1 Tbsp milk of choice
  • ¼ tsp vanilla bean paste , or ½ of a vanilla bean split and seeds scraped out

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, and 1 Tbsp of milk
  • Stir the mixture until the powdered sugar is fully dissolved and the glaze has a smooth consistency.
  • If the glaze is too thick for your liking, add a little more milk, a teaspoon at a time, and mix well until you reach the desired consistency.
  • If the glaze is too thin and you prefer a thicker consistency, add more powdered sugar, a tablespoon at a time, and mix until you achieve the desired thickness.
  • Add ¼ tsp of vanilla bean paste.
    If using a vanilla bean: split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds using the back of a knife. Add the vanilla bean seeds to the glaze and mix until well combined.
  • Drizzle the prepared glaze over your favorite baked goods such as cakes, cupcakes, donuts, or cinnamon rolls. You can also use it to glaze cookies or muffins.
  • Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!
