Ingredients

  • ½ cup greek yogurt low fat unsweetened, can also use regular or dairy-free yogurt (read note*)
  • ¼ cup powdered almond butter , unsweetened. I used the Barney Butter brand
  • 2 Tbsp strawberry puree , from fresh strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar of choice , such as monk fruit sweetener. Can also omit if desired

Instructions

  • In a clean bowl, mix all ingredients together and stir until no visible clumps of powder remain
  • To make a thicker frosting, add more powdered almond butter. For thinner frosting, add more yogurt or strawberry puree.
  • For best results, transfer the bowl to the fridge and cool for about an hour for the frosting to set.
  • Fit the mixture into a piping bag and use it to frost cakes and more!

Notes

*When using regular non-Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt of choice such as almond, coconut, oat milk based yogurts, add 2-3 teaspoon more powdered almond butter to thicken the frosting since other yogurts aren't as thick as Greek Yogurt.
